Postdoctoral position in epigenetics and small RNA biology, University of California
Posted by Maria Ninova, on 5 May 2021
Location: University of California Riverside, USA
Closing Date: 1 July 2021
Ninova Lab at the Department of Biochemistry, University of California Riverside, is seeking postdoctoral researchers to join our team. We are interested in the broad areas of small RNAs and epigenetics, with a particular emphasis on the mechanisms that govern gene and transposon silencing in animal germ cells and during early embryonic development. This is a “wet-lab” position that requires experience with common molecular biology methods and omics technologies such as RNA-seq and ChIP-seq. Experience with bioinformatics data analysis is a plus, but is not essential. For more information about the lab research and requirements, visit: ninovalab.org.
To apply, please send a brief description of your research interests, a CV/resume and an example publication of available (preprint is fine) to ninova@caltech.edu.
Closing Date: 1 July 2021
Scientific fields: Chromatin and epigenetics, Early embryogenesis, Gene regulation, Cell fate control and differentiation
Model systems: Drosophila
Duration: Fixed term
Minimum qualifications: PhD in life sciences
