A postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available to join Professor David Long’s Kidney Development and Disease group at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. The researcher will work on a Wellcome Trust Investigator Award to understand the role of the lymphatic vasculature in embryonic development, health and disease. Using the kidney as a model system, the post-holder will join our programme of work applying three-dimensional imaging, single-cell transcriptomics and experimental models to determine: (i) how lymphatics initially form and the role they play in organogenesis and (ii) the cellular interactions between lymphatics and the neighbouring epithelium in organogenesis, health and kidney disease.
