Research posts – Regulation of local translation in developing neurons

We are looking for one postdoctoral researcher and one research assistant to explore the role of local mRNA regulation in neurites in the neurodegenerative process, and its potential as a therapeutic target. This ARUK-funded research programme will use zebrafish and human cell models. The postdoc candidate should hold a PhD in Neuroscience or related discipline and have extensive wet-lab experience. The research assistant should hold a MSc in the same field with wet-lab experience, or have at least 1 year wet-lab experience.
