Teaching Fellow

We currently have an opening for a number of Teaching Fellows who will teach, advise and facilitate the experiential learning of students in formal and informal teaching and learning sessions, using appropriate educational best practices to maximise learning and promote a positive student experience.

The Teaching Fellows will focus on delivery of modules that contribute to degree programmes in the areas of Biochemistry, Biology, Zoology, Medical Genetics, Biomedical Science, Pharmacology, Neuroscience and Psychology.

The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning through:

  • Teaching and the evaluation and assessment of student achievement and development
  • Managing the surrounding student support through e.g. feedback
  • Contributing to the evaluation and assessment of modules
  • Providing advisorial support to students
  • Contribution to laboratory-based teaching
  • Leading on relevant administrative tasks relevant to the module or programme

Candidates must have a postgraduate degree and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.  We particularly invite candidates with expertise in Physiology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or Psychology.
