Wellcome Trust PhD Training Programme in ‘Advanced Therapies for Regenerative Medicine‘ is OPEN TO APPLICATIONS

Wellcome Trust Four-Year PhD Programme offer exceptional opportunities to talented researchers who wish to study for a PhD in the UK. The Centre for Gene Therapy & Regenerative Medicine at King’s College London hosts the Advanced Therapies for Regenerative Medicine Wellcome Trust PhD Training Programme. Seven fully funded studentships, including: a paid stipend (starting at starting at £25,954/annum UK tax free with annual increments), university fees and International Health Surcharge and VISA fees reimbursement – are available with a start date in September 2024 to provide in-depth postgraduate training to highly motivated students of any nationality.

This programme is designed for students who wish to carry out high quality lab based fundamental research and find solutions to challenging medical problems.

PhD supervisors have been selected to provide training using their expertise in core areas of relevance to regenerative medicine, including stem cell and developmental biology, cell transplantation, gene therapy and endogenous tissue repair, bioengineering, disease modelling and drug screens.

Salary: stipend starting at £25,954/annum UK tax free with annual increments
